When Janus and Riani Smit first bought the farm, they intended on using it for weekend getaways with family and friends. They would never have thought that Falcodor would turn out to be a much-loved holiday and weekend destination for guests from all over.
Janus and Riani are devoted to their faith and regularly attend church camps. It was at one of these camps that Riani received the calling to start hosting camps on their farm and so Falcodor Game Ranch was born. From one villa came another and soon they had the capacity to house 86 guests.
Riani is a passionate and artistic woman and decorates each unit herself. She puts her love and creativity into every single detail. Falcodor often plays host to weddings and Riani is usually actively involved in the planning of each. Brides can take advantage of her drive for perfection and rest assured that their most special day rests in good hands.
At Falcodor, there is a large variety of game and guests have the opportunity of bow hunt a specimen from our well - constructed ground, pit or elevated blinds. We bought the awesome dense Birdrock farm, which expand our hunting area to 1000 ha ( 2500 acres ) where rifle hunters can put their stalking abilities to the test.
